Learn To Knit
I-Cord
I-Cord is very simple to knit and you'll find all sorts of uses for it. It's often used as an embellishment. When you knit I-Cord, you make a snake or a tube of knitting.
I-Cord is knit on double pointed needles. Cast on 3 to 5 stitches and knit the first row. Now (and this is why you need double points) slide the stitches to the other end of the needle. The yarn from the ball will be on the left. Just bring it around to the right side of the needle and knit the stitches again. Slide them back to the other end. Bring the yarn around to the right and knit them again. Continue until it's the length you need.
